Shoruq Organization Concludes the 26th Shoruq Art Camp

Shoruq Organization concluded the activities of the 26th Shoruq Art Camp, which was held over five days with the enthusiastic participation of children in an atmosphere filled with creativity, learning, and fun. Art Summer Camp: Shoruq conducted a five day summer camp that brought together 115 children (aged 7-17) enrolled in Shoruq’s art programs, particularly the Dabkeh and music groups. The camp provided the children with a safe, engaging and inspiring space where they could enjoy their summer, express themselves and interact with their peers. Over the five days, the children participated in a diverse program of artistic, cultural and recreational activities, including theatre performances, film screenings, drama and drawing workshops, music activities, Palestinian Dabkeh training and a variety of interactive and recreational activities. We concluded the summer camp with a joyful day in the swimming pool which is the children's favorite. The camp was also supported by a group of young volunteers and youth leaders, including former members and graduates of Shoruq’s Dabkeh School who joined the program as children and dancers and have now grown into active young leaders. Their engagement reflects the continuity of Shoruq’s work and the transition of young participants from beneficiaries into volunteers and role models for younger children

The camp provided a safe and supportive space for children to express themselves and develop their talents through a diverse program combining arts, culture, and entertainment. The program featured theatrical performances, film screenings, and workshops in drama, drawing, music, and traditional dabkeh, alongside a variety of interactive activities that fostered teamwork, self-confidence, and creative expression among the participants.

The successful conclusion of the camp reflects Shoruq Organization’s continued commitment to creating inspiring spaces where children can explore their talents, build new skills, and enjoy meaningful artistic and cultural experiences.
