As part of its ongoing commitment to promoting child rights and developing youth capacities, the Shoruq Organization recently conducted an awareness workshop for children in Aida Camp, hosted at the Al-Rowwad Cultural and Arts Society.

The workshop was held under the program, "Protecting Children and Developing Their Capabilities," with a primary focus on the topic of "Child Access to Justice in Palestine." The session aimed to strengthen the children's understanding of their legal rights and ensure they are well-informed about the mechanisms available to access justice, thereby contributing to a safer and more protective environment for them.

This initiative is part of a broader strategic effort to foster legal awareness among the younger generation. The activity was implemented with support from the Sawasya II Joint Programme, in partnership with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

The workshop saw active engagement from the children, who discussed ways to protect their rights in the current climate. Participants emphasized the importance of such activities in building their self-confidence and providing them with the knowledge of the legal systems designed to uphold their fundamental rights.
