Shoruq Organization has concluded its “Photography” and “Filmmaking” workshops, held as part of its “For the Protection of Children and Development of Their Capacities” program. The Photography Workshop aimed to enhance participants’ creative skills in photography through practical training in professional photography techniques and the use of different types of cameras. The training also covered key artistic aspects, including composition and lighting, while introducing participants to photography as a tool for expressing their ideas, perspectives, and messages. Meanwhile, the Filmmaking Workshop focused on introducing participants to the fundamentals of screenwriting, production, and directing, in addition to technical skills related to camera operation and video editing. The workshop aimed to provide children and young people with a deeper understanding of the world of cinema and equip them with the tools needed to create films that reflect their stories, experiences, and perspectives. Through these workshops, Shoruq Organization continues to provide children and young people with opportunities for learning, creativity, and self-expression, while supporting the development of their skills and encouraging them to share their voices and experiences through creative media.
